THE FIX AUTO UK NETWORK REACH £550,000 IN GOVERNMENT GRANTS
Fix Auto UK’s Ian Pugh recently appeared on the I Love Claims ARC360 Webinar to discuss Coronavirus and its impact on the industry.
As part of this, Ian highlighted the success the network had been having in obtaining the Government’s Small Business Grant for Retail, Hospitality and Leisure after challenging their initial declined applications. Ian encouraged all repair centres to apply for these grants in order to protect their businesses as well as to ensure there is an industry to return to once the lockdown and COVID-19 restrictions are lifted in the future.
Ian said: “The Fix Auto UK network figures are now at £550,000 for the small business grant and over £600,000 for the retail relief rates, with more successful applications being approved each day. I am delighted with the success our network is having with their applications. These kinds of initiatives are so vital to help with cash flow both now and going forward into 2021”.
Ian added: “While I was on the ARC360 Webinar, I offered our advice to any independent or small repairer groups if they needed any guidance on receiving the grants. We have received a significant number of calls, mainly from those who were either unaware of the government support until they saw ARC360, or from sites who had been unsuccessful in their initial applications. I am pleased Fix Auto UK have been able to show the way with this and that we are able to help the industry survive this pandemic at the same time.”
