FIX AUTO UK SPREADS ITS SOUTH WALES WINGS INTO MONMOUTHSHIRE WITH LATEST APPOINTMENT

Brothers Dan and Ashley Mustoe were so impressed by the recent Fix Auto UK National Conference, they instantly pledged their commitment and agreed to join the network!

The duo, who had been considering becoming a fully-fledged Franchise Partner for three months leading up the highly for anticipated event, were invited along to see for themselves the scale and professionalism that runs through the network.

Formerly known as Mustoes Specialist Vehicle Body Repairs, they have since returned and renamed their repair centre Fix Auto Caldicot and in doing so, firmly established Fix Auto UK as the dominant repairer in South Wales and its surrounding area.

Strategically, the latest addition to the network is perfectly positioned to receive vehicles from throughout Monmouthshire, bridging the region between existing sites Fix Auto Gloucester, Fix Auto Cheltenham, Fix Auto Tewkesbury and the soon-to-be-opened Fix Auto Hereford while also supporting fellow south Wales sites Fix Auto Aberdare, Fix Auto Neath, Fix Auto Newport and Fix Auto Swansea West.

Formed by their father, Eddie, in 1993, the brothers took over the day-to-day running of the business in 2014, since then they have invested significantly, primarily buying a neighbouring unit, expanding it to 13,500 sq ft and equipping it with the latest state-of-the-art systems and equipment including three spraybooths, one being for commercial vehicles.

They proudly hold Vehicle Manufacturer approvals for Stellantis and Suzuki and are actively seeking more and, with a 12-strong productive staff supported by three non-productives, they are currently repairing up to 25 vehicles a week with ambitions to accommodate more.

“We have had a taste of what Fix Auto UK has to offer by acting as one of its second-tier support centres,” said Dan, “and while we have long considered joining and becoming a fully branded site, going to the National Conference where we were welcomed by fellow repairers with completely open arms made our minds up that we were joining the right organisation to help us meet our ambitions.”

And it is those ambitions that have fuelled the brothers to join the network. Ashley added: “Mustoes has an enviable reputation for repairing cars to the highest standards and delivering a high level of customer service, but Dan and myself want more. So far we have achieved great things with the business thanks to the support of our dad and our connections locally but we aren’t naïve to know there’s only so much we can achieve without external support, advice and guidance. Joining Fix Auto UK is that next step for us. Seeing and speaking to existing franchisees during the conference really did hit home just how supportive everyone is and just how high we can take the business.”
