FIX AUTO UK BECOMES THE TITLE SPONSOR FOR CHAMPIONSHIP-WINNING RACER

Fix Auto UK has increased its support of racing driver Jac Constable – by becoming the drivers’ title sponsor just five months after he won the 2017 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup AM Class Championship in his first season as part of the series.

For the 2018 season, Jac steps up from the AM Class into the Pro Class in the Ginetta GT4 SuperCup - a race series that supports the hugely popular British Touring Car Championship and one which will be regularly featured on national television throughout the year.

Together the two are hoping to continue their winning ways which had the perfect start to 2018, with Jac taking the top step on the podium as he joined three other drivers to win a 24 hour race of international drivers in Dubai in January.

Jac, from Fleet in Hampshire said: “I’m hugely excited to once again have Fix Auto UK on board. I am ambitious and winning the championship last year far exceeded all of my expectations. It has accelerated my career as I’ve now taken the decision to make the step up into the hugely competitive Pro Class. Competing in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup series is fantastic and together, we can progress throughout this season and, hopefully beyond.”

Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK, said: “In 2017 we opted to back a fresh-faced newcomer with relative experience. Jac exceeded everyone’s expectations to go on and win his the championship at his first attempt. A story familiar to our own as we continue to grow and develop the network.

“Jac was not only successful on the track but was also a fine ambassador for the Fix Auto UK brand, particularly as one of our guests at our 2017 National Conference. I hope we can maintain our winning ways and I wish him all the very best of luck for the 2018 season.”
