FIX AUTO PERSHORE SHOWS SUPPORT OF NEW DRIFT RACING RECRUIT

Fix Auto Pershore announce support of one their newest recruits by sponsoring him to build a new drift car to enable him to compete in the highly competitive British Drift Car Championship.

Stefan Stefanov who joined the business last July, is no novice to the sport as he is a double Bulgarian national drift car champion and Romanian title holder.

Bodyshop manager Dave Addis, explained: “We employee several guys from Bulgaria and Romania and knowing we were in need of another paint technician, Stefan was recommended. His workmanship is exemplary and we immediately took him on. It was only after he started with us that I discovered he’s competed and won at the highest level and that his intention was to build a new car and compete on the UK and international circuit.

“The entire team immediately got behind him and have worked outside of hours to renovate his car. The whole project has brought us all together. Watching the transformation of the car has been quite something.”

With the support of Fix Auto Pershore behind him, Stefan has built a new competition car, a Nissan S13 – a three litre, six cylinder 600 bhp machine paired with a six speed BMW gearbox.

Stefan said: “The support I have had from Dave and the entire team has been incredible. I came to England with the intention of competing in the British Drift Car Championship. It’s a big step up from anything I’ve competed in before. Finding a job here at Fix Auto Pershore is making it all possible for me.”

The British Drift Car Championship will be held over six rounds throughout the summer commencing on April 6/7 at Teeside Autodrome, Middlesbrough and concluding at Buxton Raceway in Derbyshire in October.
