FIX AUTO OPENS BRAND NEW BODYSHOP IN WREXHAM

Fix Auto UK is proud to announce the opening of a new site in Wrexham, North Wales, which will operate as Fix Auto Wrexham.

The site is being opened by existing Fix Auto franchisee and Managing Director of Fix Auto Oswestry Lee Hitch, who has overseen the development from a bare shell to a fully functioning bodyshop in just seven weeks!

The now pristine, state-of-the-art bodyshop, complete with six-bay moveable spraybooth and five bay working area, is a result of the hard work and dedication and is a shining example of the sharing of best practice which is an integral element of the Fix Auto UK family.

The new site - which will be managed by Shane Price and will feature four technicians, two spray painters and a receptionist - will repair up to 30 vehicles a week.

Lee said: “To say we’re extremely pleased with what we have achieved is an understatement. Yes, there have been testing times along the way, but in reality it is everything we have planned for, and more.

“Our parent site at Llanymynech has evolved over its 40 years of operation, and by comparison Wrexham has been created almost overnight.  While the actual physical work has been achieved really quickly, the new bodyshop has been long in the planning. We had a blueprint of what we needed to achieve our goals and, standing here, with the work now flowing through, I believe we have nailed it.”

Richard Edwards, Bodyshop Director, who has also been instrumental in the new site’s development, said: “Thanks to the design and layout of the bodyshop, coupled with the very latest systems we have brought in, Fix Auto Wrexham will have operating capabilities three times that of a more traditional bodyshop. It really is a major leap forward for the entire business.”

On a visit to the new site during its first week of operation, Fix Auto UK’s Managing Director, Ian Pugh said: “I am really impressed. I have to admit when I saw the images in March’s Infofix which showed Lee in a totally bare building I thought the development timescales were ambitious, but have they done themselves and Fix Auto UK proud.  I’m standing here in a totally immaculate bodyshop which is a hive of activity.  I’d like to congratulate Lee, Richard and all the team involved, and wish Fix Auto Wrexham a very successful future.”
