FIX AUTO UK STRENGTHENS ITS LONDON REGION WITH TWO NEW FRANCHISEES

Fix Auto UK has increased the number of franchisees located inside the M25 and the Home Counties following the signing of two new businesses.

The network has welcomed DML Car Body Repairs who are based in Mitcham, and Accident Repairs Heathrow to the network. The sites will now operate as Fix Auto Mitcham and Fix Auto Uxbridge respectively. The appointments increase the number of franchisees in the region to 30.

Owned by Daniel Lawes, Fix Auto Mitcham was formed in 2007 in Epson before moving to its current 5,500 sq ft 10-work bay repair centre in South London. Managed by Ian Johnson, it currently has the repair capacity of 100 vehicles a month and already has plans in place to increase this. 

Commenting on his appointment, Daniel said: “I’m ambitious but also a realist. I’m driven to develop the business but I recognise I need help, support and guidance to make it possible. You cannot ignore what Fix Auto UK brings to a business. I have looked at the network for some time, so when there was an opening which enabled me to join, I jumped at the opportunity.”

He added: “I have always felt being part of a large organisation is the way forward but like most business owners who have started from nothing, I still want to be in control. Fix Auto UK actively encourages and supports that ethos.”

Fix Auto Uxbridge is owned by entrepreneur Max Angliss who formed the business 11 years ago having first entered into the industry through a small mobile smart repair franchise. The 5,000 sq ft repair centre has two spraybooths and a workforce of 10 operatives.

Max said: “I started out in the industry by supporting my brother who was part of a mobile smart repair franchise. Things naturally progressed and we severed ties with that operation as we transitioned to a full repair centre”

“Having experienced a franchised operation previously, I firmly believe if we are to fulfil our ambitions we need to be part of a bigger operation. Fix Auto UK will make that possible.”
