FIX AUTO UK’S COMMUNICATIONS TEAM BOLSTERED BY BRAND EXPERT

Fix Auto UK has appointed Grace Weddell as its new Communications Manager to further strengthen its brand presence and provide franchisee partners with additional B2C communications support.

Reporting into Head of Strategy and Communications Rob Pugh, the 26-year-old joins the network with a background in providing media and communications support to iconic organisations like the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Red Bull and Motorcycle Live.

One of Grace’s key roles will be to provide the network’s franchisee partners with direct brand and communications support aligned to its unique zero per cent finance package – the first for the vehicle repair industry – as it gathers momentum as an alternative way for motorists to pay for their cosmetic repairs and enhancements.

Managing Director Ian Pugh said: “Having listened to our franchisee partners who have asked for additional branding and digital communications support, one of our goals at the start of the year was to further bolster our in-house team. Obviously, those plans were put on hold in February. Lockdown provided us with the opportunity to realign our strategy and we have formed a Strategy and Communications Team.  I am delighted to say the final piece of the puzzle has now been added with Grace’s appointment as she joins with a fine pedigree of delivering for some of the biggest brands in business.”
