FIX AUTO UK BOOSTED BY MID CHESHIRE PARTNER

Fix Auto UK’s position in the North West has been further strengthened with the appointment to the network of AP Auto Paint in Northwich.  

Formed by Vinny Lomas 11 years ago, the new franchise partner will operate as Fix Auto Mid Cheshire.

The business joins many others in the network whereby the passion and drive from a skilled individual has taken a dream of one day being his own boss and turned it into a reality.

Having learned his trade spray-painting high end sports cars from TVR, Lotus and Porsches, the 42-year-old further honed his skills by working for several local repairers operating in the Cheshire area before setting out on his own. Initially serving family, friends and local traders, Vinny’s reputation swiftly soared and within six months he’d moved into larger premises and employed his first apprentice.

That was nine years ago and two expansions later, the business supports six staff and repairs 40 vehicles month.

Workshop Manager Phil Chesworth joined the team four years ago to help elevate and grow the operation and under his stewardship, it has gained official manufacturer approval status from Mazda and, more importantly, the BS10125 accreditation, a key element needed to join Fix Auto UK.

“I have seen what can be achieved in this industry with drive, ambition and skill,” said Vinny, “and while I like to think I have those qualities, I am a realist to know I need help and support from a business point of view to continually grow and develop.

“I am ambitious, while I am really pleased with how the business has grown so far, we have so much more potential. For me, joining Fix Auto UK will unlock that potential.”
