25 YEAR WORK ANNIVERSARIES REACHED WITHIN THE FIX AUTO UK NETWORK
Two employees from within the Fix Auto UK network had their long service recognised this week.
Armando Ferraira, Production Manager at Fix Auto West Hampstead, and Painter Sam Andrews from Fix Auto Stevenage each reached their 25th anniversary since joining their respective repair centres.
Fix Auto West Hampstead Owner Matthew Wright praised Armando, who he referred to as his right-hand man and said: “Armando is as passionate and keen today as he was when he joined 25 years ago. His role has evolved from painter to production manager as he’s grown with the company. He is as dedicated to the business as ever and this has never been more evident than over the last few months.
“Armando has led the team by example throughout these hard times. When needed and without hesitation he has rolled his sleeves up and tackled any job before him. He’s even showed he hasn’t lost his touch with a spray-gun!”
Armando’s dedication has been rewarded with the team organising a socially distanced celebration where, in front of his wife, Romina, he was presented with a certificate and a gift voucher. As a life-long fan of Arsenal, he will also have a new season ticket courtesy of the business - once they become available.
Hannah Crick, Operations Director at Fix Auto Stevenage, commented on Sam’s anniversary and said: “Sam has been a mainstay of our workshop for 25 years. He joined shortly after Terry Gilbert started the limited business and has stayed loyal and committed ever since.
“While we held a token presentation to mark what is an incredible milestone, we really intend to celebrate properly with family and friends when restrictions are lifted and we are allowed to.”
