Fix Auto UK’s position as a leading repairer in East Anglia has been further cemented with the appointment of three strategically placed repairers.
The network now has repair centres in Diss, Norwich and Great Yarmouth, a move that boosts its workshop space to nearly 20,000 sq ft with the collective ability to repair 200 vehicles a month.
Owned by James Youngman, Bressingham Car Bodyshop will now operate as Fix Auto Diss, Norwich-based Autodoc owned by Adam Jackson has transitioned into Fix Auto West Norwich and Red Rocket Accident Repair Centre, owned by James Wilhelmsen and based in the popular seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, will now operate as Fix Auto Great Yarmouth.
The appointments complement the existing Fix Auto UK sites in the region including Fix Auto Bury St Edmunds, Fix Auto Felixstowe, Fix Auto Peterborough, Fix Auto Chelmsford, Fix Auto Basildon and Fix Auto Braintree.
Fix Auto Great Yarmouth was formed by James in 1997 as an annex to the region’s leading Peugeot dealership. James took full control of the business in 2011 and rebranded it Red Rocket. He still maintains close links with the dealership and, as expected continues to hold full approval status for the entire Stellantis stable of marques.
Fix Auto Diss was created by James Youngman in 2006 and is now situated in a 6,000 sq ft new purpose-built repair centre designed with a layout designed by James for maximum efficiency that can only be described as a centre of excellence brimming with the latest state-of-the-art equipment.
For Fix Auto West Norwich owner Adam Jackson, joining the network is the next stage of his expansion and development plan which commenced when he originally bought the business following a career in investment banking. The once smart repairer with just two staff now employs 16 and operates out of a 9,000 sq ft bodyshop.
Speaking from his Great Yarmouth site, James echoed all three new Franchise Partners when he confessed: “Having been a true independent repairer for so long and full of ambition, there comes a time when you realise that to fulfil that ambition you need help and support, joining Fix Auto UK will, I am sure, provide all the business guidance I need to take my business to that next level.”
Ian Pugh, Managing Director for Fix Auto UK, said: “All three owners are hugely ambitious and have turned to us to help them enhance and develop their businesses, it is that ambition in a business owner we now covet, the fact all three have hugely enviable reputations for repairing vehicles to the highest calibre is a given. All three have laid out their future plans, these are truly exciting appointments as we continue to strengthen the network.
