Fix Auto UK Secures ‘Ultimate’ Signing To Boost Its South West Presence

Fix Auto UK’s footprint to repair in the South West has again been further enhanced with the appointment of Ultimate Accident Repair which will now operate as Fix Auto Gloucester. 

Owned by Aron Matthews, the 8,000 sq ft bodyshop, sits in almost an acre of secure ground close to the centre of the historic city. The business operates 12 work bays, two external spraybooths and an oversized commercial booth inside the unit. 

With 10 productives which include Aron’s son, Adrian, who will be competing in the panel technician world skills finals later this year, the business has a current capacity to repair up to 30 cars a week. 

The appointment arrives three months after the network added Fix Auto Tewkesbury to its portfolio and which sits alongside Fix Auto Cheltenham, Fix Auto Malvern, Fix Auto Pershore, Fix Auto Bristol North and Fix Auto Bristol South and stretching as far south as Fix Auto Mid Devon, Fix Auto Newton Abbot, Fix Auto Paignton, Fix Auto Yeovil and Fix Auto Devon. 

“We’ve operated as a sole independent repairer since I bought the business in April 2017,” said Aron, “and while we continue to go from strength-to-strength, like so many who have joined the network before me, I am super ambitious and I feel to really fulfil those ambitions I needed to be part of a network. 

“The network has a great reputation for supporting businesses and taking them to that next level so, to me, becoming Fix Auto Gloucester was the obvious next move.”
