Fix Auto UK Network Boosted by Pontefract Appointment

“All good things come those who wait…” is an age-old adage that certainly rings true for Fix Auto UK’s latest – and 15^th – Franchise Partner appointment of the year.

For The Group has further strengthened its Yorkshire position with the appointment of Dean Gawthrope ARC Ltd which will now transition into Fix Auto Pontefract. 

And while new to the organisation, owner Dean knows only too well what joining can bring to his operation having all but signed up to join in 2018 but opted against joining to concentrate his energy on building up arguable the UK’s leading Heavy Goods Vehicle repair centre and becoming integral behind forming a network of fellow HGV repairers.

And while repairing monstrous 44 tonners are his mainstay, joining Fix Auto UK will, in his words, further help elevate his car, LCV, motorhome and caravan repairing operation.

Sitting in nearly two acres, the bodyshop spans 16,000 sq ft with 18 work bays, two spraybooths, alloy wheel refurbishment system and 10 highly skilled productives capable of repairing more than 20 vehicles a week. The business also holds vehicle manufacturer approvals for Ford, Toyota and Lexus.

Said Dean: “Joining Fix Auto UK and becoming part of the group has long been on my agenda but the timing wasn’t quite right, especially as we’ve concentrated our efforts on the HGV side of the business, that has grown and developed beyond all recognition and it’s something I’m super proud of, especially the network of fellow HGV repairers we’ve managed to build up.

“While our car repairs have been integral to our operation, we’re now at a point where we want to take that to a whole new level too, joining Fix Auto UK will do just that, and more.”
