In a clear display of strength and confidence in Fix Auto UK, Franchise Partners across the country are declaring their commitment with an unprecedented wave of investments aimed at further highlighting the resilience and depth of the organisation.
Despite industry reports highlighting decline in repair volumes, Fix Auto UK has achieved yet another year of growth in 2025. The increase in repairs channelled through The Group underscores the trust and confidence insurers and repairers continue to place in the brand and its market-leading services.
Fuelled by this confidence, a conservatively estimated £7.5 million is currently being spent by repairers.
Investments include two Franchises Partners who have bought secondary sites, two are each spending more than £1m developing new facilities to replace their existing repair centres and three are investing up to £500,000 each in either building additional workspace or completely re-designing their existing facilities to further improving efficiencies.
Then, of course, there’s the continual investment with supplier partners, specifically in the latest cutting-edge equipment and advanced training facilities and sustainability initiatives. There is also widespread expenditure in EV-ready technology, diagnostics, and ADAS calibration capabilities, the recruitment and training of skilled technicians through enhanced apprenticeship programmes and upskilling platforms and sustainability-led upgrades, such as energy-efficient spray booths, solar installations and carbon footprint reduction strategies.
Investments include new sites for Fix Auto Colchester and Fix Auto North Brighton, while Fix Auto Ayr is tripling capacity with a 23,000 sq ft facility. In Northern Ireland, Fix Auto Saintfield is transforming a farm into a 16,000 sq ft repair centre and in South Wales, Fix Auto Swansea West is relocating to a 14,000 sq ft site that will also house an LCV repair centre.
In North Wales, the Hitch family is building a 5,000 sq ft workshop in Oswestry alongside recent upgrades at Fix Auto Wrexham. In the Midlands Fix Auto Lichfield, winners of the network’s Bodyshop of the Year 2025, is midway through a £500,000 transformation and Fix Auto Buckingham is investing £250,000 in new offices, expanded workshop space, and facilities.
Meanwhile, Fix Auto Caldicot has achieved full Tesla approval following a “significant” investment, just months after opening its second site, Fix Auto Bristol Central.
“While much of the industry is under pressure from declining repair volumes, many of our Franchise Partners are choosing to invest not just for today, but for the long term,” said Ian Pugh, Managing Director of the Advantage Group of Companies, which Fix Auto UK falls within.
“This isn’t simply about surviving challenges—it’s about raising the bar. Our Franchise Partners are entrepreneurs at heart; they don’t settle for the status quo. They’re constantly seeking new opportunities to enhance efficiency and deliver industry-leading customer service. The confidence we see across the Group is not only inspiring but also a clear sign that Fix Auto UK continues to set the standard for quality, capability, and customer commitment in our sector.”
