Fix Auto UK Celebrates Another Two Major Site Expansions as the Group’s Investment Sails Past £8 Million

Fix Auto UK is celebrating two significant developments as both Fix Auto Walsall and Fix Auto Gloucester unveil major expansion and investment programmes—underlining the continual growing confidence in The Group and the wider vehicle repair industry.

Fix Auto Walsall’s investment has resulted in the business now operating from a 16,000 sq ft repair centre encompassing two buildings that increases its footprint to nearly four times that of its original size.

While the main repair centre now operates out of a newly acquired 12,000 sq ft adjacent unit, as part of the investment, owner Ziarab Amin has converted his original 3,700 sq ft unit into a dedicated ‘tech’ centre equipped with a dedicated ADAS calibration system and facilities to service EVs.

The development has boosted repair capacity from 18 vehicles per week to more than 40, including hi-top LCVs, while also enabling significant upgrades such as two new high-efficiency spray booths, a redesigned workshop layout and an enhanced customer reception. Staffing levels have doubled to meet demand, with new technicians, VDAs and customer service advisors joining the growing team.

Following that news, fellow Midlands’s repairer Aron Matthews, owner of Fix Auto Gloucester, has received the keys to a 9,000 sq ft building located directly next to his existing building. The additional space will support his long-term growth ambitions, enabling increased repair capacity, enhanced workflow efficiency and future service innovation. The acquisition marks another substantial investment by a long-standing Fix Auto UK repairer and demonstrates his commitment to future-proofing its business.

Commenting on his development, Humam Amin, Bodyshop Director and Bodyshop Manager at Fix Auto Walsall, said: “This investment marks a major milestone for us at Fix Auto Walsall. These investments form part of a wider wave of expansion across the Fix Auto UK network. Just three months ago, the Group revealed how several Franchise Partners were collectively investing up to £8 million into new facilities, equipment, technology and workforce expansion.
