FIX AUTO UK FRANCHISEE REVEALS PLANS TO DEVELOP SECOND SITE A YEAR ON FROM JOINING THE NETWORK

Almost exactly 12 months on from joining the network, Fix Auto Tewkesbury owner Kevin Dunlop has taken his first major steps to fulfil his ambition of joining the ranks of fellow multi-site operators.

The 41-year-old has received the keys to a 5,500 sq ft unit and work has immediately commenced to transform the former packaging distribution centre into what will be Fix Auto Hereford.

Due to the level of improvements needed to transform the building into a repair centre of excellence, Kevin has optimistically set a three-month deadline and intends to be fully operational by June 1 if not before.

When operational, Fix Auto Hereford will be managed by Nathan Cooper, the current Assistant Manager at Fix Auto Tewkesbury and will accommodate 11 work bays and will repair more than 40 cars a month with a team of five operatives.

Strategically, the investment is yet another key move for Fix Auto UK as it further strengthens the network’s position in the region and complements the existing sites that include Fix Auto Gloucester, Fix Auto Cheltenham, Fix Auto Pershore and Kevin’s established site, Fix Auto Tewkesbury.

“When I joined Fix Auto UK in February last year, I stated I was ambitious and wanted to develop a second and possibly third site,” said Kevin, “and here I am with the keys to a second building exactly one year on. To say it’s exciting is an understatement.”
