FIX AUTO BASINGSTOKE REVEALS PLANS TO DEVELOP NETWORK’S FIRST LCV DEDICATED REPAIR CENTRE

Fix Auto Basingstoke owner Dale Morris is fast developing what will be the network’s first centre solely dedicated to repairing vans and LCVs.
 
The new 15,000 sq ft repair centre will complement his established and hugely respected Fix Auto Basingstoke repair centre.
 
Work to develop the new facilities started within hours of him receiving the keys to the building, firstly installing the necessary groundwork including airlines needed prior to the installation of twin oversized spraybooths, large four-poster lifts and a supporting equipment. 
 
New IT and security systems are also being fitted. If all goes to schedule, the first vehicles will be repaired by mid-January.  The new site which is perfectly positioned on a main arterial road linking the town’s key commercial area with its primary residential area is less than a five-minute drive from the established Fix Auto Basingstoke centre.
 
Speaking from the new site, Dale said: “After what seems like an age since we came up with the notion to open a dedicated van and LCV repair centre we’re finally here and I couldn’t be happier!

“Choosing the right building to suit our needs has been critical to our plans. Access and security to the site was paramount as was the need to develop a layout which enables a seamless and efficient in/out layout. This site gives us that and more.”
 
Dale has gathered a six-strong team of technicians who will initially staff the new site but aims to double that once it is fully operational.
