Fix Auto Gloucester Completes First Phase of Major New Investment Programme

Another week, and another Fix Auto UK Franchise Partner has shown their commitment to growth with a significant investment that boosts both repair capacity and operational efficiency.

This time, we celebrate Aron Matthews of Fix Auto Gloucester, who has completed the first phase of an ambitious expansion programme that will ultimately double the size of his operation.

Shortly before the Christmas break, Aron acquired a neighbouring 9,000 sq ft unit adjacent to his existing site. Two-thirds of the new building has now been converted into a dedicated MET and panel repair facility, and as of Monday, vehicles were being repaired from the new premises. The investment has also included the installation of ADAS calibration and four-wheel alignment systems.

The move has been carefully planned to deliver immediate operational benefits. By relocating MET and panel work to the new unit, additional space has been freed up within the existing 8,000 sq ft workshop, which houses three spray booths, including one dedicated to commercial vehicles. Aron conservatively estimates that the enhanced workflow efficiencies will increase overall repair capacity by more than 30 per cent.

While the entire new building is not yet in use, the remaining space provides valuable flexibility and supports Aron’s long-term growth ambitions.

Aron said: “I outlined my ambitions to grow and develop the business when I joined Fix Auto UK two years ago, and I’m always true to my word. Being part of the Group gives you confidence, and I almost immediately started looking for a suitable building that would future-proof the business. When the unit next door became available, I jumped at the chance. It really is the perfect site for us and, importantly, gives us further scope to grow should we need to.”
