Fix Auto South Africa announces appointment of CEO and National Operations Manager

JOHANNESBURG (South Africa) August 3 2016 – Fix Auto South Africa is delighted to announce the appointments of Malcolm Rajah and Gavin van der Riet. Malcolm Rajah has been appointed as CEO and Gavin van der Riet has been appointed as National Operations Manager. They will assume their responsibilities on the 1st of August 2016.

Recently introduced to the South African market, Fix Auto a leading global motor body repair franchise network, is designed to give Insurers and other stakeholders a consistent focus on service delivery, cost and quality. Fix Auto ‘s owner operated Franchise network means the business maintains local knowledge combined with the systems, knowledge and expertise of a leading global player with a proven track record. 

Following a series of Repairer Clinics held in April, there has been significant interest shown in this franchise opportunity, and the recent appointments of Malcolm and Gavin underscore the commitment of Fix Auto to the South African market.

Malcolm brings with him significant experience from the motor insurance and franchising industries, having previously held senior positions with the PostNet franchisor; OUTsurance and most recently he headed up Santam’s Digital Motor claims and Assessing.

Gavin’s in-depth experience in the repair industry and in insurance assessing ensures that the business is well positioned in delivering value to all stakeholders.
