Fix Auto UK Lead the Way at 2026 NBRA Greener Awards as the Group Celebrates Record Awards Haul

Fix Auto UK enjoyed a record-breaking night of success at the seventh annual NBRA Green Awards, with eight repairers from across the Group recognised during a spectacular ceremony at Coventry’s CBS Arena.

More than 550 guests representing vehicle repairers, insurers and key industry suppliers gathered for the annual celebration which saw Fix Auto UK once again demonstrate its strong commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility and the well-being of its people.

Among the biggest winners last night was Fix Auto Mid Devon, where owners Erika and Alena Woolacott and their team followed up last year’s finalist position by going one step further and securing the NBRA Staff Well-Being Award 2026.

There was also double delight for Fix Auto Basingstoke. Owner Dale Morris first took to the stage to collect the Platinum Award, the NBRA’s highest accolade for environmental performance, from celebrity host and boxing legend Frank Bruno before returning moments later to receive the coveted Sustainability Award 2026.

The recognition underlined the strength of sustainability initiatives being delivered throughout Fix Auto UK, with Fix Auto Park Royal and Fix Auto Penzance also named as finalists in the Sustainability category while Kenneth Rubolinyane, of Fix Auto Chelmsford, was a finalist in the Bob Linwood Greener Apprentice Award 2026 and Linda Innes, of Fix Auto Mid Devon, was a finalist in the Customer Service Award 2026.

The Group’s environmental achievements were further recognised through the NBRA’s Greener Awards, with Fix Auto Mid Devon collecting a Gold Greener Award for the second consecutive year. It’s sister site, Fix Auto Newton Abbot, were also recognised in the Gold category as were Fix Auto Oswestry and Fix Auto Wrexham, while Fix Auto Penzance, unable to attend the ceremony, was again recognised marking the fourth consecutive year the repairer has received the accolade.

Adding to the Group’s success, Fix Auto Redhill and Fix Auto Skegness both received Silver Greener Awards.

Erika Woolacott said: “We have been working hard for a long time to transform our entire operation and make it as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.

“To receive a Gold Award for a second consecutive year is a remarkable achievement and reflects our ongoing commitment to operating a greener business. Being recognised with the Well-Being Award was simply the icing on the cake!

“As I said last year, we are extremely proud of what we have achieved, but we also recognise there is still plenty more we can do. To be recognised once again by our industry is incredibly humbling and I would like to sincerely thank the NBRA.”
