Fix Auto UK Expansion Along the South Coast Continues with New North Plymouth Addition

Fix Auto UK’s march along Britain’s south coast continues with the appointment of a new site in the city of Plymouth.

Founded in 2013 by spray painter Leon Hall with a personal loan of just £4,000, LA Bodyworks has steadily grown into a thriving operation. Now, as part of its ongoing development, the business has transitioned into Fix Auto North Plymouth.

The appointment is the culmination of a series of investments made to enhance the repair centre including taking over a neighbouring unit and ‘knocking through’ to further increase its repair footprint to an impressive 9,000sq ft so it now hosts 20 work bays plus additional secure car parking and a separate unit solely dedicated to ADAS.

A true family affair, Leon heads a team of eight productives including his younger brother, his father and a life-long friend. Today, they are repairing around 20 vehicles a week but, by his own admission, he has scope for more.

As the site’s name suggests, Fix Auto North Plymouth is situated on the northern outskirts of the historic city, stone’s throw from its two main arterial roads.

Impressively, the latest appointment further cements Fix Auto UK’s position as arguably the largest repairer along the south coast by taking the number of fully branded repair centres to 14, from the recently acquired Fix Auto Lydd in Kent through to Fix Auto Penzance right on the southern tip of the UK.

Commenting on joining the network, Leon said: “I am extremely proud of what I’ve achieved. From that £4,000 loan and operating out of a single unit big enough to repair just one car at a time, I’ve managed to grow and develop into what we have today. But I am ambitious and know there’s still a lot more to come from the business and I recognised I need that help and guidance to fulfil those ambitions. Fix Auto UK has a hugely successful CV of helping repairers to take their businesses to that next level and I want to be part of that success.
