Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent Maintains Fix Auto UK’s Winning Ways During the 2025 British Bodyshop Awards

Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent became the toast of the network during last night’s 2025 British Bodyshop Awards with the Staffordshire repairer walking away with the Kindertons Approved Repairer of the Year Award.

In a night of celebration that witnessed more than 850 of the industry’s finest once again gather at the Manchester Central Complex for the 14th ‘BBAs’, Fix Auto UK celebrated eight finalists named among the raft of awards, with Fix Auto Edinburgh West, Fix Auto Hoddesdon, Fix Auto Leicester, Fix Auto Maidenhead, Fix Auto Park Royal, Fix Auto Skegness and Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent ensuring the network’s name continuously rang out.

Fix Auto Maidenhead, less than 10 months after joining the network, were singled out and received a special ‘Honourable Mention’ in the Thatcham Apprentice Employer of the Year award.

Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent’s Customer Services Director Angela Henry proudly stepped up on stage at the Manchester Central Convention Complex to receive the honour from celebrity host Vernon Kay and Chris Dodgson, Head of Sales for Kindertons.

And, once receiving the award, and rather fittingly, Angela paid tribute to Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent’s founder Mick Whitehead whose funeral was held earlier this week. She said: “It was yet another incredibly proud moment for the business and for the network.

“This has been a week of deep reflection and immense pride as we remember Mick who was much more than just the founder of the business, he was the driving force behind everything we have achieved over the years. Mick’s passion built a legacy that continues to shape the way we work and the exceptionally high standards we uphold.

“Fittingly, just four days after we said our goodbyes, Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent was honoured with yet another industry award which is a testament to the enduring impact of his leadership. It’s an achievement that feels especially poignant now, a reminder how his influence lives on in ever repair and every success. I am sure he was looking down and raised a glass to celebrate such a great evening with us.”

Ian Pugh, Group Managing Director for Advantage Group of Companies, of which Fix Auto UK is one of, added: “I congratulate Angela and the entire team at Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent for maintaining our winning ways at such a prominent industry event. It really is a fitting tribute to Mick’s legacy. Once again having multiple finalists really is impressive and further cements our position as a leading authority in this industry of ours. My commiserations to those finalists who were unsuccessful this time around, I am sure they’ll be back next year.”

Rather poignantly, they were joined by Nicky Whitehead, the widow of the company’s founder Mick Whitehead who was laid to rest earlier in the week.
