Fix Auto Dagenham and Enterprise Team up to Raise £6,000 for Sycamore Trust in Spirited and Entertaining Clash

 There may have been a 4 – 3 defeat on the scoreboard but the Sycamore Trust came out clear winners where it mattered – as Fix Auto Dagenham and a team representing Enterprise raised an impressive £6,000 for the charity after the two enjoyed a friendly football face-off.

The highly anticipated match brought together staff, families, and supporters from both organisations in an evening of laughs, tackles, and community spirit. While Enterprise clinched the win at the event held at Dagenham & Redbridge’s ‘hallowed’ ground, it was the guys wearing Fix Auto Dagenham’s claret colours who took top honours off it thanks to organising the joint fundraising event.

The funds will go directly to Sycamore Trust UK, the local charity that has close linked to Fix Auto Dagenham that supports individuals and families affected by autism and learning difficulties and which was also adopted by Fix Auto UK during its recent National Conference.

Held at a buzzing local venue, the game drew in employees, families, and supporters from both sides. With energy high and tackles flying (all in good fun, of course), the teams played their hearts out—but it was the fundraising total that really stole the spotlight.

Fix Auto Dagenham’s Operations Director Neil Parker, joked: “Sure, we didn’t win the match, but raising £6,000 for Sycamore Trust, well that’s the real victory. Enterprise was lucky in the night and were even awarded a dubious penalty but, we’ll just have to come bank stronger next year! A huge thank you to everyone, including Dagenham & Redbrdge FC for allowing us to play and those who donated, supported and cheered us all on.”

Matt Startin, Replacement Sales Manager for Enterprise who ‘managed’ the team, said: “What a great night and what a great cause the guys at Fix Auto Dagenham have adopted. We’re only too pleased to have played a role. The game was played in the true spirit of fun, here’s to next year!”

Enterprise was quick to return the praise, calling the event a brilliant example of teamwork for a great cause and, of course, offering to defend their title in a future rematch.

With big goals both on and off the pitch, the event was a hit—and a reminder that when businesses come together for good, everybody wins (even if the final score says otherwise).
