A New Era Begins as Fix Auto Uk’s First Degree Apprentices Begin New Career Journey

Fix Auto UK has ushered in a new era for recruitment and skills development for the country’s vehicle repair sector. 

This week, the Group welcomed Tiah Glasgow and Dominic Khan to the organisation to start their new roles, becoming the industry’s first two recruits to embark on landmark degree apprenticeships. 

Admiral has been integral to the initiative, working closely with Fix Auto UK to shape it from the outset. The result combines paid employment with a degree from Manchester Metropolitan University and hands-on experience in the industry.  

Tiah, who will report into Brand and Communications Manager Helen Smith, is undertaking a Digital Marketing degree apprenticeship and Dominic, whose degree apprenticeship is Chartered Management (Data), will work alongside Commercial Analyst Rickesh Chohan. 

Ian Pugh, Managing Director for the Advantage Group of Companies that Fix Auto UK lies within, personally welcomed the two new starters on their first day. Ian said: “This is another genuine industry first for Fix Auto UK and for our industry. Tiah and Dominic represent the future.
