FURTHER SUCCESS FOR FIX AUTO UK’S JAC CONSTABLE IN THE GINETTA GT4 SUPERCUP

Fix Auto UK’s racing driver Jac Constable has made more progress in the 2018 Ginetta GT4 Supercup Championship this weekend, with his second successive podium during a demanding and wet series of races at Snetterton Circuit.

The 20-year-old is hugely optimistic as he looks towards his next race in two weeks time at Rockingham, having shown great promise at the Norfolk circuit after gaining much needed points by finishing second, fourth and sixth in the races. The latest results have elevated him to within reach of the championship leaders.

Jac, who by his own admission has experienced a slow start to the season since stepping up into the Pro-class class after winning the AM title at his first attempt in 2017, said: “I really can’t wait for Rockingham. We’ve finally got the car performing exactly where we want it and I am buzzing.

“We showed great promise last weekend. Stepping back onto the podium in one race and having a fourth place in another. However, taking the safe option and starting the third race on the wet tyres because of the conditions cost us dearly. Three drivers gambled by starting on slick tyres and then the rain slowed as we headed to the grid. Halfway through the race the track had practically dried up so they went on to dominate.”
