FULL LINE UP OF SPEAKERS ANNOUNCED FOR FIX AUTO UK’S NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Fix Auto UK has revealed the final line up of guest speakers for its ‘Driving Forward’ 2017 National Conference.

The event will once again be held at the Hilton St George’s Park Hotel, Staffordshire in mid-October and is being supported by a record number of supplier partners, including Platinum Sponsors Akzo Nobel and Audatex.

Three-time Olympic medallist Kriss Akabusi and David Wild, UK CEO of Domino’s Pizza Group will be headlining the event. Leading brand and customer experience expert Alex Hunter will also join them, while industry specialists Ian Guest and Sean Carey will be returning to the stage.  David Lingham, Head of Business for Fix Auto World will also take to the stage for an interview where he will provide an update on the network’s progress worldwide.

Former racing driver Perry McCarthy - famed for being the original ‘Stig’ racing driver for BBC’s Top Gear - will host the event, and guests will be entertained by TV comedian Hal Cruttenden at the Fix Auto Awards Dinner.

Alex Hunter served as global Head of Online for the Virgin Group, overseeing the brand’s global digital strategy, as well as Sir Richard Branson’s personal digital strategy.  He is now host and creator of Attaché, an award-winning online travel show that has amassed more than 50,000 subscribers, and will speak about how to turn your customers into loyal fans.

Ian Guest - who first appeared on the Fix Auto stage in 2014 as Claims Supply Manager for Allianz Insurance - brings with him a vast knowledge of the insurance industry’s supply chain and procurement following a number of senior roles with global insurers.  His presentation will cover the latest developments in the motor claims marketplace and their consequences for the supply chain.

Chicago-based Sean Carey, who is highly respected in the industry because of his unrivalled understanding of the needs of insurers, repairers, OEMs, rental companies, technology providers and supply chain partners, has more than 30-years’ experience in the automotive industry and is regarded as a strategic visionary in the field of Connected Cars.  He will provide an update on his 2015 presentation, which highlighted trends in vehicle technology and their effects on the collision market.

Fix Auto’s Head of Marketing Tom Hadfield, said: “We have worked hard to again deliver what we believe will be an exciting and informative event for our franchisees, insurer clients, sponsors and guests.

“The feedback we received after last year’s event was impressive, particularly surrounding our headline speakers Sir Clive Woodward and Matthew Syed who exceeded our expectations. There is no doubt they will be a hard act to follow but we truly believe that in Kriss, David and Alex, along with Ian and Sean, we have a line-up that will deliver an inspiring and informative event to everyone who attends.”
