FIX AUTO UK REVEALS FINAL LINE-UP FOR ITS SELL OUT 2016 NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Fix Auto bodyshops, insurer clients, sponsor partners and insurer guests are in for a three-day feast when the network’s aptly entitled Achieving Peak Performance 2016 National Conference gets underway in under three weeks.

The eagerly anticipated event which, for the third successive year, has completely sold-out will feature former England rugby world cup-winning coach Sir Clive Woodward CBE, former international sportsman-turned-Times journalist and author Matthew Syed, Head of UK brand for innocent drinks Joe McEwan and Sarah Kenworthy, Head of Supply Chain Management for AXA Insurance Claims as guest speakers.

Anne Howes - who spearheads the Institute of Leadership and Management programme being undertaken by Fix Auto franchisees - and Cheryl Chung - the former Head of Communications for McDonald’s who has been working with the network to develop its communication strategy - will also take to the stage.

The line-up will be completed by three Peak Performing bodyshops as Louise Woolacott (Fix Auto Mid Devon), Jade Rogers (Fix Auto Weston-Super-Mare) and Angela Henry (Fix Auto Stoke-on-Trent) will be interviewed by conference moderator David Lingham to find out what keeps their businesses at the forefront of the industry.  Ian Pugh, Dave Calder of Fix Auto UK and Steve Leal, President and CEO of Fix Auto World, will provide strategic updates on the outlook for the bodyshop network in the UK and globally.

Tom Hadfield, Head of Marketing for Fix Auto UK, said: “The feedback received after our 2015 National Conference was incredible with many attendees commenting that it was undoubtedly our most successful and informative to date. We have since worked hard to ensure that this year’s agenda delivers even more.

“We are particularly excited to have Sir Clive Woodward and Matthew Syed, who were both featured as part of the BBC’s Rio Olympics coverage on the subject of achieving high performance.  Their powerful lessons have a clear application to businesses, and should leave the audience highly motivated to succeed.”

For the second successive year, the National Conference will be staged at the Hilton St George’s Park Hotel, home to the English Football Association’s National Football Centre.  In addition to compelling content, the event also allows plenty of time for networking, with a Go Karting event, a Welcome Party, 5K run, the Fix Auto Awards Dinner plus an exhibition area ensuring there really is something for everyone.

Ian Pugh, of Fix Auto UK, said: “It’s incredible to consider that, for the third successive year our National Conference is once again a complete sell out.  It is an achievement to be proud of, and testament to exactly where the network is today.

“This year’s Achieving Peak Performance theme has clearly struck a chord with delegates eager to develop and enhance their businesses.  The event will also provide a great platform for us to showcase our future plans.”

He added: “Expectations are extremely high and meticulous planning has gone in to the programme to ensure we will once again deliver another memorable event that will prove to be of huge benefit to all.”
