FIX AUTO UK PARTNERS WITH INDUSTRY SPONSORS AND TOP FLIGHT SPEAKERS TO ‘SHOW THE WAY’ AT 2018 NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Fix Auto UK is set to raise the repair industry’s corporate conference bar with a record number of delegates, sponsors and exhibitors signed-up to join its 2018 National Conference.

Reflecting the Network’s continuous growth and evolution, the aptly entitled ‘Showing the Way’, event will draw upon the expertise of a raft of carefully-selected, top-flight speakers to inform and inspire franchisees at the Hilton St George’s Park Hotel, Staffordshire, on October 17-18.

Fix Auto UK has been in a position to select and secure high-quality speakers that reflect the Network’s mission and vision thanks to sponsorship from key industry partners.  AkzoNobel has taken the Diamond Event Sponsor position with Audatex and 3M joining as Platinum sponsors.

Gold sponsorship opportunities were quickly seized by ACIS, Advantage Parts Solutions, AGM Services, Axalta, Bodyshop Solutions, Bodyshop Magazine, Circle Leasing, Enterprise, Industry Insights, Peritus, Prasco UK, Purchase Direct, STL, S&G Response and Thatcham Research.

Following his success at last year’s Conference, Perry McCarthy, aka BBC Top Gear’s original Stig, will be the event moderator, introducing a speaker line-up which commences with Headline speaker Floyd Woodrow, the highly decorated former special-forces soldier and critically acclaimed orator whose presentation is designed to inspire the audience to “Find Your Potential”.

Also taking to the stage will be leading IT specialist Jason Hart who will cover the very current threat of cyber security and Geoff Ramm, creator of Celebrity Service and OMG Marketing who promises to have delegates on the edge of their creative seats with his tips on how to deliver memorable customer service and marketing.  Former McLaren F1 mechanic-turned-Sky TV pundit Marc Priestley will explain how marginal gains are achieved in the high-octane world of F1 and how they can transcend to every business.

The Fix Automotive Network World will be represented by Harry Dhanjal, Global Strategic developer, who will talk about Global OEM opportunities, while Dean Lander, Head of Operations at Thatcham Research will speak on the future of cars and how bodyshops will need to invest to cater for more changes to materials and the repair process.

“We have once again worked tremendously hard to deliver an event which combines first-class networking, learning and information gathering opportunities, with a chance to relax and enjoy everything that St George’s Park has to offer”, said Fix Auto UK’s Ian Pugh.

“Our conference agenda has been formulated to reflect the issues and opportunities that exist in our industry today, with thought-provoking presentations which complement our ‘Showing the Way’ conference theme.  Last years’ speakers will be a hard act to follow but in Floyd, Jason, Geoff and Marc, along with Harry and Dean, we believe we have a line-up that will deliver yet another inspiring and informative event.”

Ian concluded: “The level of support and interest shown in this year’s event by our sponsors and franchisees has extremely humbling.  We continually surpass our delegate numbers year-on-year and with just three weeks to go, the excitement is building.”
