FIX AUTO CROYDON’S GRAND DESIGN DOUBLES PRODUCTION AND PAVES THE WAY FOR AN INDUSTRY-LEADING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Fix Auto Croydon has successfully completed the first of a two-phase multi million-pound investment programme, in a bid to develop the most prestigious and customer centric bodyshop in London.

Owners Nick and Mark Boret have relocated their entire business to a 40,000 sq ft building just a stone’s throw from their previous site. This move allows the entire operation to be situated under one roof, which will streamline processes, increase efficiency and raise productive output to more than 80 vehicles per week.

The new bodyshop has been equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment, including a double-sized spraybooth capable of accommodating two vehicles or the longest LCVs. This, combined with a six-bay moveable spraybooth and an eco-friendly lighting system, creates the perfect working environment to repair vehicles.

Work on the second phase is now underway, and includes the installation of an imposing glass viewing wall spanning the entire width and height of the bodyshop, providing customers with a panoramic view into a pristine workshop as they drive in to drop-off or collect their vehicle.

Operations Director Rachel McGuinness, said: “While it served the company extremely well, our previous site was spread over several buildings which wasn’t conducive to the modern needs of a bodyshop and was holding our progression back.”

“Being under one roof enables us to adopt new processes and procedures which, combined with the very latest time-saving equipment, will significantly increase productivity.  While these are still early days and there’s still building work to be completed, we are already witnessing the improvement.”
