FIX AUTO UK ANNOUNCES AMICUS PARTNERSHIP
Fix Auto UK has become the first repair network in the country to forge a close working partnership with Amicus, the industry’s latest national distribution network.
Created by Grove Group and Fleet Factors and launched last month, the new organisation aims to bring together repair and refinish supplies through multiple organisations and form a single distribution network.
Prior to launching, Amicus developed a new digital platform entitled Integrum which it believes is a ‘game changer’ for repairers. Designed to ensure every department and individual within a business works in unison when ordering and managing their paint and consumables, the system also features a unique ‘health check’ feature that monitors critical data in order to increase efficiency, productivity and profitability per repair.
Ian Pugh, Fix Auto UK’s Managing Director, said: “Amicus has been born out of a close working partnership between Grove Group and Fleet Factors. Grove has been a major partner and supporter of ours since day one. They have supported our growth and our ambitions, we are just repaying the faith and support they have shown us.
“While I am all for ambition and growth, fundamentally I am always searching for a service or product that will bring immediate benefits to our business and specifically our franchise partners. Amicus, through its Integrum digital platform, I believe, will do just that and much more.
Amicus co-founder Paul Newman, said: “While Grove has an unequalled heritage in this industry, Amicus is a completely new and hugely exciting venture. Anyone who is anyone within the vehicle sector industry knows only too well the phenomenal growth and continual success Fix Auto UK has achieved over the last decade so to receive this seal of approval and immediate support is a huge boost for us.
“Amicus has been formed to provide repairers with an unrivalled and immediate service. Integrum, our new digital platform, will be fundamental in driving down costs and improving efficiencies, savings that we’ll pass directly onto the repairer.”
Fellow Amicus co-founder Joe Hunter, added: “Try as we might, as individual businesses, there is only so much you can achieve in this industry. However, as Fix Auto UK is continually proving, having strength in numbers and strength in depth you can achieve your goals and more besides. That is the ethos behind Amicus. We are all about improving efficiency, productivity and profitability per repair along with delivering industry-leading customer service. There are undoubtedly close synergies between ourselves and Fix Auto UK and we are delighted to have them on board.”
