DOUBLE CELEBRATIONS FOR FIX AUTO UK AS TWO FRANCHISEES CELEBRATE THEIR 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARIES
“If we hadn’t joined a decade ago, we wouldn’t be here today…” a sentiment echoed by Fix Auto Birmingham North’s owner Parwinder Dhutty and his Fix Auto Sutton-in-Ashfield counterpart Steve Cook, as both businesses celebrate their 10th anniversaries since joining the network.
Both franchisees are the latest within Fix Auto UK’s network to reach the milestone and earlier this week received commemorative plaques from Ian Pugh to mark the occasion.
Speaking on the day, Ian said: “I can proudly say the Fix Auto UK we have today is firmly established as a leading organisation within this industry, but we are only in this position going forward because of business owners like Dhutty and Steve Cook who had the foresight of being part of something bigger in order to progress forward ten years ago.
“When you consider both businesses joined the network while it was in its infancy over here in the UK and at a time when our country was in a recession, and both owners openly say they are here today because they’re part of the network - that is incredibly humbling.”
Dhutty, said: “Becoming Fix Auto Birmingham North was the best thing I ever did. I joined at a time when bodyshops were falling by the wayside here in Birmingham on almost a weekly basis. Fix Auto UK has provided me with all the tools, help, guidance and confidence to be successful. Yes, there have been tough times, but we wouldn’t be here today if it were not for the network.”
Steve Cook added: “When we joined Fix Auto we were just about turning over £800,000, last year we surpassed £3.8 million. We had never heard of repair metrics like key-to-key and cycle times – crucial elements that are needed to succeed today. That’s where Fix Auto has come into its own. The network has given us the tools to not only survive but also thrive. I truly believe if we hadn’t joined, we wouldn’t be in business today. The industry has changed that much and we simply wouldn’t have been able to keep up with its constant evolution.”
