FIX AUTO UK-BACKED JAC CONSTABLE EDGES CLOSER TO GINETTA GT4 SUPERCUP CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

Fix Auto UK-sponsored driver Jac Constable has moved another step closer to securing the 2017 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup AM Class Championship, after two wins at Silverstone.

Although the teenager took two chequered flags at the iconic circuit - including one following an impressive drive from the back of the grid in his third race of the weekend - a ‘DNF’ in the second race means the highly competitive championship will go down to the wire at Brands Hatch in Kent this weekend.

With 50 points separating Jac from his closest rival, Colin White, he needs two second-place finishes in the last three races of the season to guarantee him the overall title.

Jac said: “I am absolutely delighted with the way this season has gone. To be leading the championship in my debut season going into the final race of the year is beyond all of our expectations. Fingers crossed everything will go to plan and we can go onto secure the AM-class championship.”
