Fix Auto Stevenage Sponsors Local Youth Club

Fix Auto Stevenage are proud to announce their new sponsorship with local youth football team AFC Walkern U11’s.

Terry Gilbert managing director said: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to support the team and wish them all the best in their tournaments.”

The team will go forth to compete in the season pushing to win and do their very best in all competitions.

Fix Auto Stevenage Introduces New Alignment System

Fix Auto Stevenage is raising the bar by introducing a brand new top-of-the-range wheel alignment system, the Elite Hawk TD from Pro-Align. Boasting incredibly accurate readings in as little as 90 seconds, the Elite Hawk TD can increase productivity as well as store sales.

Managing Director Terry Gilbert said: “The new wheel alignment system will help us reduce alignment times while at the same time increasing accuracy. We searched the market carefully and we know we now have the right system to fit the precise needs of our shop.”

Fix Auto Stevenage At Knebworth

Engaging with classic and supercar enthusiasts from all over Hertfordshire, the Fix Auto Stevenage team took centre stage by attending the Knebworth Classic Car Show with a Jaguar Series 2 E Type and an Aston Martin DB9 coupe to showcase their workmanship.

The show helped them gain recognition in what they do best and achieve prospects for new business as well as raising their company profile in the local area. The show ended with a prize draw and one lucky winner won a bottle of the finest champagne.

Fix Auto Stevenage supports local university talent

When staff at the University of Hertfordshire’s UH Racing department made contact with Fix Auto Stevenage about providing some help for a project, Managing Director Terry Gilbert was happy to assist.

It turned out the university was seeking sponsorship and looking for a bodyshop where they could paint the carbon fibre car parts for their race car. Terry provided them with the facility they needed, and they went on to have a successful season in the Formula Student UK class, winning some competitions in the UK, Czech Republic and Germany, and picking up a number of awards.

Pride of place in their trophy cabinet went to the Jaguar Land Rover 'The Art of Performance' award, Continental’s 'Best use of tyre data' award, he Most Effective Communications Strategy Award and first place in the Design event. From a racing perspective, the team achieved podium positions for the skid pad and endurance events, with a second place overall in the competition for combustion.
