MILTON (ON), November 16, 2021 – Daryll O’Keefe, Regional Vice President for Fix Network Ontario, is pleased to announce that Fix Auto Toronto Junction has achieved recognition under the Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP).
With the accreditation, Fix Auto Toronto Junction joins an elite group of Canadian collision repairers who are equipped with the necessary expertise, skills, and equipment to properly and safely repair the latest vehicles. The CCIAP is a not-for-profit program launched by AIA (Automotive Industries Association) of Canada and requires shops to undergo a comprehensive test of their repair processes and equipment and an audit of facilities to meet AIA’s stringent standards.
Fix Auto Toronto Junction is one of the largest auto repair facilities in the area and reflects owner-operator John Tsoumaris’ 50 years experience in the automotive industry. Tsoumaris aligned his business with the Fix Network family last year and being certified in the most advanced programs has always remained one of his key priorities. The facility is well-equipped to repair all makes and models of vehicles and has obtained OEM certifications from most major automotive companies.
Along with the CCIAP certification, Fix Auto Toronto Junction has also been certified the I-CAR Gold Class, meeting the industry’s requirement for safe, complete, and quality repair. This certification is issued by the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, an international, not-for-profit organization and certifies that a body shop is committed to ensuring their business represents the highest achievement in collision repair training excellence.
Over the past 50 years, Tsoumaris has witnessed the rapid technological developments taking place in the automotive industry across the world. “Vehicles are becoming increasingly complex and technology in different makes and models are changing faster than ever before,” he said. “I am confident that our training in the mandated standards of CCIAP and I-CAR Gold Class can keep our teams on top of the most recent automotive advancements.”
O’Keefe added, “I congratulate John and his talented team for their high degree of professionalism. By equipping his team with world-class training, certifications and technologies, John has proven his determination to stay at the leading edge in an ever-changing industry. Fix Network will continue to support their commitment to the network and to the industry.”
