FIX AUTO’S FIRST CCIAP ACCREDITED FACILITY IN QUEBEC

Fix Auto Centre-Ville has earned their Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) recognition, making it Fix Auto’s first shop in Quebec to do so.

MONTREAL (Quebec), December 12, 2017 – Yves Roy, General Manager of the Quebec region is proud to announce Fix Auto Centre-Ville has achieved recognition under the Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP).

For shop owner Carlos Salsa, as one of the original Fix Auto facilities which has been with the network for 25 years, this is the culmination of a long process involving extensive training of his staff and adding the specialty equipment needed to repair today’s modern vehicles.  Fix Auto Centre-Ville has already earned their Honda ProFirst™ certification and are working toward other OE certifications.

For Salsa and his team, earning the CCIAP recognition is part of their ongoing efforts to ensure Fix Auto Centre-Ville is at the forefront of collision repair technology.  "We want to be able to repair cars with the latest technology with the certainty that we have everything we need to restore them to the satisfaction of all our partners; the manufacturers, insurers and of course, our customers," commented Salsa.

Jean-François Champagne, president of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA), was on-site to present the CCIAP plaque to Salsa and his team. "We have seen an increase of shops earning their CCIAP recognition and I want to emphasize that the AIA fully supports each shop during the accreditation process," noted Champagne.

Fix Auto fully supports this accreditation program which adds a great deal of expertise to each shop that has achieved their recognition.   Fix Auto General Manager Yves Roy believes the journey towards earning the CCIAP recognition is definitely worth the time, energy and commitment of each shop. "We strongly encourage our shops to undergo the CCIAP recognition process and achieve their accreditation to ensure they have the specialized tools and extensive knowledge that is needed to fix modern vehicles,” said Roy.  “I am proud of Carlos and his entire team for achieving their CCIAP recognition as this shows their commitment to innovation.”

Centre-Ville joins Fix Auto Barrie North, Thunder Bay and North Bay in Ontario, Fix Auto Edmonton North & West in Alberta and Fix Auto Courtenay in British Columbia who have also achieved CCIAP recognition.
