General Manager Glenn Smaha and team join Fix Auto Western Canada network to drive expansion and growth forward
CALGARY (Alberta), June 10 2016 - Peter Polito, General Manager for Fix Auto Western Canada is pleased to announce the addition of new strategic partner Fix Auto Airdrie, Alberta, effective June 8th 2016.
Fix Auto Airdrie General Manager Glenn Smaha recalls the shop’s history, from independent dealership Airdrie Motors Ltd., founded in 1986 to Davis Chevrolet GMC Buick Ltd. in 2012. "Almost four years later, we are realizing our potential, setting new benchmarks for ourselves on a regular basis. It takes great people and we are 78 strong, which is almost exactly double the staff we had when we came here four years ago."
Smaha says that joining the Fix Auto network was a decision based on finding a long-term partner for growth and development. "We needed to align ourselves with a partner that could give us the brand to build a solid reputation around. It was natural to consider Fix Auto as the brand we brought to market as we expanded our bodyshop operations beyond our dealership," he adds. Having recently attended Fix Auto’s national conference in Calgary, Alberta, Smaha states it cemented his impression of the network: "What struck me most at the recent conference was the level of professionalism, and the feeling of “family” amongst the franchisees, as well as the strong bond they share with Fix Auto’s corporate staff."
