FIX AUTO TEAM ATTENDS CCIF IN EDMONTON

The Fix Auto team proudly attends the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) in Edmonton.

EDMONTON (Alberta), October 6, 2017 - The latest Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) took place in Edmonton on September 29th and the Fix Auto team was there en masse along with other representatives from the industry. The CCIF event brings the collision industry together to collaborate and share ideas.

“The CCIF provides a national venue for industry stakeholder to develop solutions for issues that are common to the industry,” said Brigitte Pesant, Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada Director of Collision Programs.  Event emcee and CCIF Chairman Joe Carvalho echoed Pesant’s sentiment throughout the event. “This is a resilient, tough industry and we'll get through whatever we need to get through,” Carvalho noted.

The event saw dynamic presentations from industry leaders including those representing suppliers, technical instructors, recruitment experts and AIA delegates.  Vehicle technology and trends were the common theme and how these are impacting all areas of the industry.

Overall, the CCIF Edmonton event was a great success with a record 455 total attendees joining with insightful information for all no matter what facet of the collision industry they represented. The Fix Auto delegation, 41 in all, which included franchise strategic partners, regional and head office staff, gained valuable insights from each presentation. “Our teams look forward to each CCIF held across Canada,” said Daniel Hogg, CFO for the Fix Automotive Network. “There is a great deal of pertinent industry information shared and discussed in an environment that allows for numerous networking opportunities. It is fantastic to see our Fix Auto numbers continue to grow at each must attend event.”
