FIX AUTOMOTIVE NETWORK GATHERS IN ONTARIO FOR REGIONAL MEETINGS
Fix Auto, Speedy Auto Service and NOVUS Glass franchise strategic partners in Ontario come together for their annual regional meeting and Masters Golf Tournament.
MILTON (Ontario), September 26, 2018 – On September 18th and 19th, the Fix Automotive Network (FAN) team descended upon the beautiful Kingbridge Conference Centre in King City, Ontario; approximately 40 minutes north of downtown Toronto. This marks the first time that all FAN brands in Ontario came together for the annual regional meeting. Franchise strategic partners from Fix Auto, Speedy Auto Service and NOVUS Glass travelled from across the province to join FAN corporate staff, insurance and fleet partners and valued suppliers to participate in business updates, networking opportunities and the always popular Masters Golf Tournament.
Daryll O’Keefe, General Manager of Fix Automotive Network Ontario opened the meeting welcoming a record 160 delegates. “The annual FAN Regional meeting is a great opportunity to bring the Ontario team together for not only business updates and networking, but also to continue to build on our One Family, One Vision philosophy,” said O’Keefe.
Steve Leal, President & CEO of Fix Automotive Network World gave an inspiring presentation outlining not only the network’s achievements but also a look at the innovations to come. “We have some exciting operational, training and management platforms coming online over the next 12 months,” said Leal. “Some are improvements to our current systems based on feedback from our franchise strategic partners, while others are brand new platforms designed help our shops run efficiently, train new staff effectively and continue to deliver fantastic customer service and high quality repairs.” These include the new Speedy Zone, a drive-thru vehicle diagnostic health check and the FAN training centre; which will open in Milton, Ontario before the end of 2018.
The success of the Fix Automotive Network is because of the hard work and dedication of the franchise strategic partners. “Some of our shops have been around for six decades,” commented O’Keefe. “This is an amazing achievement and a testament to our brands’ integrity.” As part of the annual meeting, FAN Milestone Awards were given out to shops reaching significant years of service within their communities.

Along with the fun, the tournament participants, which included FAN franchisees, insurance and fleet partners, suppliers and corporate staff, raised $10,280 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Canada. Catherine Bridgman – CEO RMHC South Central Ontario and Chris Over – Manager of Development & Donor Relations were on hand to accept the donation.
