STORIED AUTO BODY SHOP IN THUNDER BAY JOINS THE FIX AUTO TEAM

At 95 years and still going strong, the Badanai Motors collision repair team joins the network as Fix Auto Thunder Bay South. 

THUNDER BAY (Ontario), April 16, 2019 – Daryll O’Keefe, Regional Vice President for Fix Automotive Network Ontario & Manitoba, is very pleased to welcome the newest members to the network, Fix Auto Thunder Bay South. Opening their doors back in 1924, the Badanai family has served customers needing collision repair services for a whopping 95 years! “It’s this rich history in the industry that makes us so excited to welcome George Badanai and his team to the family,” said O’Keefe.

“My grandfather started the business after emigrating from Italy and it’s been in the family ever since,” said Badanai, President & Dealer Principal of Badanai Motors. Badanai purchased the business from his father in 1992 and has kept the tradition of amazing customer service and high quality repair work alive. To ensure their highly skilled technicians have some of the best equipment in the industry, Fix Auto Thunder Bay South has two paint booths, one full downdraft and one semi downdraft, two new downdraft prep stations as well as a new Blackhawk Power Pro 3000 dedicated frame bench. To complement the newly installed equipment is the recently renovated customer waiting lounge designed with a clean, modern look and feel.
