Auto industry professional will steer the network’s operations as Fix Network looks to accelerate growth in collision repair business

BLAINVILLE (Quebec), March 25, 2021: Fix Network has announced the appointment of Sonia Bouthillette as its Vice President of Operations for Canada, as the network continues to reinforce its leadership position in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Sonia will be reporting to Sylvain Seguin, Fix Network’s Executive Vice President (Canada) and will be based at the Fix Network national head office in Blainville, Quebec. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving the network’s operational efficiencies in the collision repair business across Canada. She will also work closely with the national team to develop strategies that support franchisees and drive their operational excellence.

Sonia is a results-oriented professional with over 20 years in the automotive industry. She joined Fix Auto Canada in 2009 as Director of Insurance Relations and has held several regional and national roles over the years within the sales and operations functions. Before being promoted to the new role, she served as National Director of Performance & Compliance for Canada.

"We are thrilled to promote Sonia to Vice President of Operations," said Sylvain Seguin, Executive Vice-President (Canada). "Sonia is an innovative problem-solver who has always provided outstanding leadership and financial oversight to the network for the past 12 years. I am confident that she will bring her unparalleled energy, experience and expertise to our rapidly expanding collision repair portfolio.”

Sonia’s elevation as Vice President of Operations comes at an important time for Fix Network as the aftermarket leader looks to accelerate its expansion aggressively both across Canada and globally. As the Canadian aftermarket industry continues to mature, Sonia and her team will explore and implement initiatives that drive profitability for the network’s franchise partners, especially in the new normal.

Commenting on her promotion, Sonia said: “I am excited to take up the opportunity and work across the network’s extraordinary portfolio of franchises, which includes some of the most recognized brands in the automotive aftermarket industry. I look forward to collaborating with Fix Network’s senior management team and across all of our teams to advance the organization’s goals.”
