THE FIX NETWORK ONTARIO TEAM GATHERS FOR THEIR ANNUAL REGIONAL MEETING

Fix Network franchise strategic partners from around the province convene in King City, Ontario for business meetings, networking and the annual Masters Golf Tournament.

MILTON (Ontario), September 25, 2019 - The second of five regional meetings to be held across the country this fall, Fix Network Ontario franchise strategic partners representing Fix Auto, NOVUS Glass and Speedy Auto Service gathered at the serene Kingbridge Conference Centre in King City; just north of Toronto. The team had the opportunity to take in business updates, network with supplier and insurance partners, share best practices and even have a little fun.

Kicking off the two day event Fix Network franchise strategic partners and corporate staff joined insurance, fleet and supplier partners for an enjoyable day on the course at the annual Fix Network Masters Golf Tournament at King Valley Golf Club. Now in its 10th year, this tournament is a great way for everyone to meet, greet, re-connect and enjoy the day.

Daryll O’Keefe, Fix Network Regional Vice President for Ontario opened the regional meeting with a warm welcome to all partners as well as announcing the new owners and locations from around Ontario that have joined the team in 2019. Steve Leal, President and CEO of Fix Network World provided a global update for all the brands as well as news regarding new supplier partnerships and the importance of the CCIAP recognition program on the collision side of the industry.

The entire team was treated to an inspirational presentation by Robert Ellis, the Founder and President of MySafeWork. MySafeWork’s mission is to prevent people from getting injured, harassed or killed on the job. They are committed to creating a social movement against unsafe work through education and empowerment as well as inspire companies to establish strong safety culture through employee engagement.

The Fix Network boasts a Power of One culture throughout its network; however Fix Auto, NOVUS Glass and Speedy Auto Service do represent three different spaces within the automotive aftermarket services industry. Break-out sessions for each brand were organized to deliver updates on marketing, sales and operations initiatives designed specifically for each brand. The break-out sessions were also used to provide some additional training on the specific software programs utilized by each sector; collision, mechanical or glass, to ensure optimal performance is achieved. In addition to the sessions, Fix Network supplier partners were on hand at the tradeshow to connect with franchise owners, answer questions and update them on their products and services.

Each year, shops are recognized for reaching specific anniversary milestones. This year, Fix Network is pleased to congratulate 23 shops in Ontario for reaching significant years of service within their communities.

“The Fix Network annual regional meeting and tradeshow is so important for our members as it’s a great opportunity for them to connect not only with our corporate staff but also our valued suppliers and other franchisees from across the province,” said O’Keefe. “Ensuring each brand has the tools, knowledge and support they need to operate a successful shop remains our top priority.”
