FIX AUTO TEAM ATTENDS CCIF IN VANCOUVER

As a unified team, Fix Auto comes together at the western Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF).

VANCOUVER (British Columbia), October 3, 2018 – Along with approximately 350 delegates, the most ever in western Canada, the Fix Auto team locally attended the latest Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) held on September 28th in Vancouver. Each Forum focusses on three pillars: Profitability, People and Vehicle Technology and gives delegate the opportunity to come together three times per year to share ideas, best practices and opinions.

Brigitte Pesant, Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada Director of Collision Programs welcomed attendees to CCIF Vancouver and set the stage for a full day of presentations and interactive panel discussions. Some of the topics covered included the harmonization of Red Seal trades, addressing the labour gap, an I-CAR update on vehicle technology and trends. Interactive panels were also held discussing accreditation programs and women in the collision industry.

Fix Auto Canada’s Andrew Neufeld, National Director of Operations, joined the panel discussion regarding accreditation and certification programs. Neufeld spoke about the importance of a consistent accreditation program such as AIA’s Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) which is strongly promoted by the Fix Auto network.

Fix Auto franchise strategic partners and corporate staff attend CCIF events across Canada both to show support and to gain valuable insights into this evolving industry. CCIF Vancouver was no different seeing a room full of Fix Auto attendees unified wearing the same branded shirts. “The AIA plays a crucial role in bringing the Canadian Collision Industry together,” said Thomas Maple, Fix Automotive Network General Manager for BC. “CCIF provides insightful updates and engaging dialogue as well as an opportunity for our team to network with their peers from all aspects of the industry, including fellow franchise owners, vendors and insurance partners.”
