FIX AUTO NORTH BAY, FIRST SHOP IN CANADA TO BECOME ACCREDITED WITH THE CANADIAN COLLISION INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION PROGRAM

The AIA's CCIAP accreditation sets up Fix Auto North Bay to meet OE-specific requirements.

MONTREAL (Quebec) – November 21, 2016 – Jean Charles Dupuis,  Chief Operations Officer for Fix Auto Canada, is proud to announce Fix Auto North Bay, Ontario as the first collision repair shop in Canada to be recognized by the AIA’s new Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP).

Andrew Shepherd, Program Director for the AIA, was pleased to have Fix Auto North Bay be the first to confirm their participation in the accreditation program. He says that: “Store manager Kelly Roberts was a tremendous force behind theirs being one of the first full I-Car Gold Class shops in Canada and I see accreditation as a natural progression for the shop and its staff.”

CCIAP accreditation requires a shop site to successfully demonstrate compliance with accreditation standards covering core business operations, equipment and training.  The process from start to accreditation can take as little as a few weeks.  Once audited, the accreditation is good for one year.

Fix Auto Canada President and CEO Steve Leal and AIA Canada President Jean-François Champagne announced Fix Auto’s corporate commitment to the new Canadian Collision Industry Accreditation Program (CCIAP) back in October 2016.

Kelly Roberts, Fix Auto North Bay’s Director, put a lot of work into obtaining the accreditation. He says that : “Once the program was officially announced, we were eager to begin the process. We are extremely proud of the quality of work in the shop and the team holds itself to a pretty high standard. Having an accreditation from a Canadian program for Canadian businesses just adds more value and reassures clients to the quality of the work we do here. ”

Dupuis concludes that : ”We are very proud of Fix Auto North Bay for being the first shop to become CCIAP accredited. This accreditation underscores our commitment to quality and consistency and sets a shining example for the rest of our network.”
